LOCATION DESCRIPTIONLocated along the edge of the Cumberland Plateau approximately two hours from Nashville, Tennessee  this 1500+ acre facility borders over 30,000 additional acres of unspoiled wilderness full of caves, rivers, and majestic waterfalls

PROGRAM HISTORYLatimer High Adventure Reservation (owned and operated by the Middle Tennessee Council, Boy Scouts of America) became a reality in 2007 with a generous gift from Bill and Carol Latimer. The 1550 acre property is surrounded by more than 50,000 acres of public wilderness in the heart of Tennessee. We have formed partnerships with the Tennessee Parks Division, Tennessee State Forestry Division, and the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency to provide visitors with complete access to the surrounding wilderness, including the Bee Creek Basin of Scott’s Gulf to the east, Scott’s Pinnacle to the northwest, the Caney Fork River, the Bridgestone/Firestone Centennial Wilderness Area to the north, and Fall Creek Falls State Park to the south.
